to scotland
when i'm off for a couple of days i tend to visit the cinema every day if i can. so far i've seen two movies, you, me & tuscany and glenrothan. the first obviously being set in italy and the other in my home country of scotland.
i often go on about how i'd love to live anywhere else, but watching this film gave me gratitude. i am very lucky to live in scotland, a country often voted as one of the most beautiful countries in the world (it really is!). the air is clean, the views are beautiful and the people are friendly. the weather? yeah that's another story. when it's miserable, it's really miserable.
but watching this film i saw the characters in love with their small town and i thought hey, i need to be kinder to scotland. i'm really lucky to live here.
to scotland, i'm sorry for giving you a bad rap. can you forgive me? you're a jewel in this horrid world.
